Cross Country Team

Cross Country Sponsor: Sherry Freeman and Katie Ballard

Cross Country got off to a running start this year. Cross-country is distance running on "off-road" terrain. The season runs through September and October. We went to three area meets this season-one in Columbus and two in Alabama. We started the season with Hannah Allen, Abby Kaiser, Taylor McCallum, Anna Ready, Kori Riley, Carlie Teffeteller, Caitlyn Walker, and Catherine Watson Varsity and Junior Varsity Sarah Elizabeth Dill, Macee Guest, Margaret Hampton Hay, Ann Caroline Harrell, Anna Grace Hemphill, Sydney Holton, and Shelby Tyler. We want to give special recognition to our JV relay team Shelby Tyler, Sydney Holton, and Sarah Elizabeth Dill for placing second in two races. We had a great season, and we are looking forward to next year!
