Congratulations to . . . .

 

     

Oak Hill had two teams compete in a History competition at the University of Mississippi this past Saturday.  The team members for Team One were Ross Billington, Morgan Sweeney, Zak Koerner, and Reid Posey.  The Team members for team two were Allyn Wamble, Braxton Maclean, Anne Peyton Sugg, and Max Abner.  Team One placed second in their bracket and Team Two placed first in their bracket.  Team One placed 5th overall and Team Two placed 6th overall out of 27 teams. 

Zak Koerner placed first in the poster/display competition.  He was awarded 6 credit-hours tuition scholarship for the summer session at the University of Mississippi.

              Spelling Bee Contestants

7th grader, Steve Collins, won 2nd place in the district and 5th grader, Jordan Perry, won 3rd place in the district at the Spelling Bee on February 17th at Immanuel Christian School.
