Collins Trolio (7th grade) won state championship as individual, Cohen Trolio 2nd and Wells Williams 3rd

2018  Class A-AA North State Champions

Cohen Trolio won medalist honors. Collins Trolio 2nd and Wells William 3rd.

Old Waverly/Mossy Oak Invitational-2nd Place as a team. Cohen Trolio-3rd Place as an individual

Tuscaloosa Academy Invitational-3rd Place team. Wells Williams Individual Champion, Collins Trolio 2nd individual

MRA Invitational-4th Place as a team

Jackson Prep Invitational-3rd Place as a team

Lamar Invitational-2nd place as a team. Cohen Trolio individual champion

Two team members named Clarion Ledger All-State Team-Cohen Trolio 1st Team All-State, Wells Williams 3rd Team All-State

Cohen Trolio selected to MAIS All-Conference Team to represent MAIS in the annual SEICS (Southeastern Independent School Association) tournament at Sea Island. MAIS team won.

14-11 Record;   6-2 in Conference 2nd in conference

Lost in 2nd round of MAIS playoffs.

Had 5 first team all conference players (Dylan Scott, Reiley Tate, Collins Brown, Ethan Bryan, Cole Ketchum)

2 Second team all conference players (Jonah Caskey, Manning Huffman)

3 MAIS all star selections (Dylan Scott, Reiley Tate, Collins Brown)

2 signed with Blue Mountain College (Dylan Scott, Collins Brown)

1 signed with EMCC (Reiley Tate)

With these offers and signing bring total up to 16 kids offered a chance to play college baseball with 7 accepting.

Softball

Finished 4th in Conference

Made post season for the third consecutive year

Had two first team all conference players (Reagan Freeman, Anna Grace Reed)

Two second team all conference players (Sunni Milican, Mallory Williamson)

 

Girls track

2017-2018

Jr. High girls Runner-up in District 1-AA  

High School girls finished 4th in district

12 girls advance to North State AA Track Meet;  9 girls advance to State AA Meet-

Rivers Bryan placed 5th in high jump, Carley Wooten placed 8th  800 meter run,( Kate Wheeler, Sydney Pierce, Carley Wooten, Morgan Dabbs) placed 6th in the  4 x 800 meter relay, (Reagan Freeman, Lexi Pruden, MaryBeth Briggs, Julianne Glusenkamp) placed 6th in the 4 x 400 meter relay. (all of these had season best times)

Boys Track

2017-2018

Jr. high finished 4th in district.

Varsity finished 4th in district.

12 boys advanced to compete in the North State Track Meet.
