Dr. Chad O’Brian, Secondary Principal/Athletic Director brings 26 years of experience in education, all of which have been dedicated to serving the students and families of Monroe County Schools.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. O’Brian has served as a boys and girls basketball coach, middle school math teacher, assistant principal, high school principal, and most recently as the Superintendent of Education for Monroe County. Under his leadership, the district earned an "A" rating for the 2022–2023 school year, a testament to his commitment to academic excellence, strong school culture, and student success.
In addition to his work in education, Dr. O’Brian serves as the Pastor of Trinity Bible Baptist Church in Calhoun County, reflecting a life grounded in service, faith, and community leadership.
Dr. O’Brian and his wife, Nora, are the proud parents of three children: Carli, Barker, and Braylon.
