Dr. Cathy Davis

 

I am an honor graduate of Cumberland High School and Wood College. I received my B.S. degree in Mathematics Education and Master’s in Instructional Technology from Mississippi State University. I received my Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Samford University in 2001.

I have taught at both the secondary and college levels. I began my educational career teaching mathematics and computer classes and coaching at Eupora High School. Later, I moved to Waynesboro where I coached at Wayne County High School and taught at the Wayne County Vocational Center. 

In addition, I have served as Supervising Principal at Wayne County High School, the Career Technical Director and Assistant High School Principal for the Petal School   District, Redesign Coordinator for New Albany and Union County School   Districts, and Supervising Principal at Wayne County High School, Coordinator of Innovative Programs and Drop-out Prevention for the Columbus School District. I have been an adjunct instructor for Blue Mountain College, Bevill State, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was on the faculty at MSU working closely with the Mississippi State Department of Education.
